Nature trail at Deulowitz Lake
The landscape surrounding Guben and Gubin is characterized by extensive woods and heaths, and many lakes with good water quality. On this Guben lake tour you can visit some of these. Situated in a wooded valley, the Göhlensee Lake has fields of water lilies and large reeds. With its many species of animals and plants, it’s a great place for observing nature. Pinnow Lake is inviting for swimmers on account of its clear water. Next on this route is Kleinsee Lake, which is surrounded by an extensive mixed forest of pine and sessile oak. Going further, more or less parallel to the L50 road, you reach Großsee Lake. The idyllic Pastlingsee Lake is situated in a nature reserve. If you are interested in rare plants, you can find here some interesting varieties, such as sundew. Deutowitz Lake is very popular for swimming, but it can also be explored by taking a trip in a rowing or pedal boat. In all these lakes, there many varieties of fish – including pike, zander, and eel – waiting for enthusiastic anglers.
Gastronomical facilities:
