Das Projekt wir aus den Mitteln des Europäischen Fonds für Regionale Entwicklung im Rahmen des Operationellen Programms der grenzübergreifenden Zusammenarbeit Polen (Wojwodschaft Lubuskie)-Brandenburg 2007-2013, Small Projekt Fund und Netzwerkprojektefonds der Euroregion Spree-Neiße-Bober, kofinanziert. „Grenzen überwinden durch gemeinsame Investition in die Zukunft.“
Ladder to heaven
In 1907 a long-cherished dream of the citizens of the city on the Neisse was fulfilled: The bank of the Neisse was connected the upper part of the town.
People very quickly found their own name for this connection, calling it the “ladder to heaven”.
These steps, or the smaller ones which are just south of the main “ladder to heaven” from ulica Piastowska, make a good start for a walk around Gubin’s hills, where you can enjoy a marvellous view of the two cities, Guben and Gubin.
