Das Projekt wir aus den Mitteln des Europäischen Fonds für Regionale Entwicklung im Rahmen des Operationellen Programms der grenzübergreifenden Zusammenarbeit Polen (Wojwodschaft Lubuskie)-Brandenburg 2007-2013, Small Projekt Fund und Netzwerkprojektefonds der Euroregion Spree-Neiße-Bober, kofinanziert. „Grenzen überwinden durch gemeinsame Investition in die Zukunft.“
Town Hall
Southwest of the parish church is the old town hall, which was destroyed towards the end of the war and reconstructed in 1986. By the 13th century Guben had already gained the right to have a town hall.
The town hall was rebuilt in 1502 out of the former Gothic style building, and in 1672 it was once more rebuilt into the late renaissance style town house. Today it houses the local public library, the arts and leisure centre, as well as a restaurant in the old town hall cellar.
