Look­ing for the old trade route

This tour cov­ers parts of the old trade route through small vil­lages where it seems like town has stood still. This is a land­scape where you can plunge into a peace­ful, prim­i­tive world far away from the noise and stress of large cities. Pass mead­ows and fruit trees via Plesno and Czarnow­ice to reach Koperno with its neo-Gothic church. Fur­ther street vil­lages along the route include Jazow, Gra­bice and Nowa Wioska. The vil­lage of Brzo­zow fea­tures a 1.5-hectare park in the style of a nat­ural mon­u­ment. The foun­da­tion walls of the old manor house and the old trees recall the time of the lords of the manor. Above the vil­lage there is a tri­umphal col­umn from 1870–71. Turn right in the vil­lage of Mielno to cycle via Strze­gow and Pozna along to Markosice. There is a pen­i­tence cross in this vil­lage, where the church hails in part from the Mid­dle Ages. Fol­low the tour fur­ther towards Gubin and you will arrive in the old Johan­nite vil­lage of Senkow­ice. The four-corned half-tim­bered church is an archi­tec­tural mar­vel from the sev­en­teenth cen­tury. The path leads via Gubinek back to Gubin.
