Museums and exhibitions

Guben's eventful history is best explored in one of the local museums. The town and industry museum – as well as the exhibition of the Gubener Tuche Association – look at the heyday of the hat and cloth industry in the town of Guben. The "Sprucker Mühle" Museum of Local History provides interesting insights into the early history of the town and the region. On the Polish side you can visit the Gubin Museum Chamber near the Werder Tower, which is part of the medieval town fortifications.
