Frankfurter Strasse – between the Neißebrücke bridge and Egelneiße am Dreieck – is the element that unites Guben and Gubin, and serves as a boulevard for the town of Guben with its small shops, cafes and renovated Wilhelminian buildings. In just a short walk from Frankfurter Strasse you can reach the Polish town of Gubin, the monastery church and the former Wilke hat factory that now houses the town administration, the Stadt- und Industriemuseum and the town library.
